Centrifugal
Pumps
Centrifugal
pumps use the centrifugal action of an impeller to 'throw' liquid
through the outlet of the pump.
The are generally used for water and water like liquids. The can
be used for a clean and contaminated liquids and like positive
displacement pumps have a vast range of application.
Unlike
gear pumps they do not provide a fixed amount of liquid per revolution.
The flow output from a centrifugal depends upon
the liquid and design conditions. As discharge head required
increases
the output flow reduces. If the head required from the pump is
higher than its design capability no flow will occur.
We
offer a vast range of centrifugal pumps to suit almost any application.
For DIN Standard, cast iron end suction and inline pumps see our SPP Pumps page.
For Split case pumps you can look at SPP and Peerless pump pages.
For vertical turbine pumps and ANSI Process pumps please look at the Peerless pump page.
For sumberisble pump suitable for clean water, sewage or slurry look at Robot or Calpeda pump pages.
For circulators, booster sets, screwed connection pumps, self priming pump please look at the Calpeda pump page.
