Varley
Pumps
Varley
pumps are double helical gear pumps, this gives a smooth
even flow and quieter operation. We have extensive knowledge
of Varley pumps. John Holmes originally helped in the
design of the pumps and has passed his experience on
to Alex Holmes.
Alex
Holmes has dealt with Varley pumps for almost 20 years
in that time he has built and repaired, selected and
sold thousands of pumps.
The
varley range is primarily used for oils and cover flows
from 0.5 igpm to over 200 igpm at pressures up to 200
psi. We offer the pump with gland packing or mechanical
seal, with or without relief valve, bareshaft or motorised.
The
Varley pump is used extensively on diesel engines such
as the Ruston, Mirrlees and
MAN engines to provide fuel and lubrication.
It is also used in many heavy industrial applications
as a lubrication pump. Large bearings, gear boxes etc
found in quarries, power stations and manufacturing
plants often have Varley pumps which been running for
years without problem.
Every
Varley pump is manufactured under the ISO9001 programme
and tested to YOUR exact requirements. We welcome outside
inspections from Lloyds, Bureau Veritas, RINA and Det
Norse Veritas.
